  • Design and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
  • Provide constructive evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform.
  • Respond to curriculum/course demands and make necessary adjustments to meet learner needs, incorporating adult learning principles.
  • Maintain and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with employer and educational requirements.
  • Develop working relationships with external partners and employers, supporting students in practical work experience, as required.
  • Attend program and school meetings to ensure collaboration and communication.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

  • Bachelor of Education, including classes dealing with the exceptional child, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two years' recent and relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Effective instructional ability and demonstrated competence in using technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software.
  • Ability to function as a team member in a dynamic environment and demonstrate valuing diversity.
