Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients and developing personalized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. A proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including clinical and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with family members and caregivers to promote person-centered care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care or a related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
