Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. This compensation package includes comprehensive health benefits, including MSP, extended health, and dental coverage, as well as a municipal pension plan.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our George Pearson Centre Administration team in Vancouver, BC. As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and guidance to designated staff, ensuring a high standard of resident care.
- Ensuring a high standard of resident care by acting as a clinical resource for staff, supporting staff training and development, and providing leadership and support to the interdisciplinary team.
- Assisting the Manager/Clinical Services Coordinator with performing administrative activities and ensuring optimal use of resident care resources.
- Consulting, conferring, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, educational resources, and other healthcare professionals/providers to achieve excellence in resident and family-centered care, education, and research.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with the British Columbia College of Nursing and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three (3) years' recent, related experience in the designated clinical area.
- One (1) year's administrative/supervisory experience.
- One (1) year's clinical teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
