Senior Engineer/Analyst Retube Tooling Design Expert

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer/Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our Retube Tooling Design team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the conceptual and detailed design, manufacturing, testing, delivery, and execution support of tooling systems.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
- Assignments have clear and specified objectives requiring investigation of a limited number of variables.
- Design and develop tooling systems, modify existing designs, investigate design difficulties, test materials, prepare specifications, conduct process studies, estimate costs, and prepare reports.
- Participate in the preparation and review of commercial and internal proposals.
- Work independently, with minimal supervision, on assignments related to one field or discipline of engineering.
- Mentor junior staff to maintain and improve performance and capabilities.
- Plan, schedule, and manage your own time, considering the plans of others.
- Ensure all project training and qualifications records are up-to-date and required training and qualifications are completed on time.
- Interface with clients to deliver engineering products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 10+ years of practical experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or Eligible.
- Experience leading a technical team is an asset.
- Experience working in a nuclear facility licensed in Canada is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to support complex and parallel technical projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Willingness to travel to and work at project sites and vendor facilities as needed.
