Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Director to lead our project teams, drive business growth, and ensure successful project delivery at the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
  1. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with the firm's growth objectives.
  2. Lead and manage the firm's project portfolio, ensuring successful delivery of all projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Business Development
  1. Drive business development efforts by engaging with clients, representing the firm in industry events, and leveraging market intelligence to pursue new opportunities.
  2. Develop proposals, presentations, and business cases to secure new projects and partnerships.
  • Project Execution & Delivery
  1. Oversee the successful execution of projects from inception through completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  2. Act as a key decision-maker on high-level project issues, managing risk and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop senior project managers and project teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  2. Set clear performance objectives for project teams and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  2. MBA or other relevant graduate degrees are considered an asset.
  3. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
  • Experience
  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  2. Proven experience managing large, complex projects ($50M+) across various sectors.
  3. Experience leading business development efforts and securing new projects in a competitive market.
  • Technical Skills
  1. Strong proficiency with project management and construction software.
  2. Deep understanding of construction contracts, risk management, and financial controls.

Salary: $130,000.00 per year, plus benefits package including dental care, extended health care, and life insurance.
