Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1021 ONTHEGO SERVICES CORPORATION. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize payments by cheque, order merchandise, and authorize the return of merchandise to ensure that our inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that we are meeting customer demand.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure that our sales floor is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash and maintain accurate records to ensure that our financial transactions are secure and accurate.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
