We are seeking a dedicated **Retail Operations Supervisor** to oversee daily activities within our store. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within retail.
- Supervise and mentor staff, including apprentices and sales associates.
- Delegate tasks and assign duties to sales personnel effectively.
- Authorize financial transactions, including cheque payments.
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise as needed.
- Handle merchandise returns and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Establish and maintain employee work schedules.
- Engage in direct sales activities and promote products to customers.
- Compile and present reports on sales performance, inventory management, and staffing issues.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and any supply chain challenges.
- Maintain organized inventory and ensure the store is well-stocked.
- Coordinate the activities of team members to enhance productivity.
- Oversee cash management processes to ensure accuracy and security.
This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
