Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize payments by cheque, order merchandise, and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to a wide range of products.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for sales staff to ensure that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
