Job Description

This position involves overseeing geotechnical analysis for pipeline systems and foundations, leading junior engineers, and interfacing with clients. Strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and good communication skills are essential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with design rules and procedures within TechnipFMC.
  • Maintain, develop, and protect the group's technical capability and know-how.
  • Design soil parameter interpretation from available geotechnical & geophysical data.
  • Site Investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required.
  • Geotechnical risk assessments and Trenching assessments.
  • Subsea Structure Foundation Design (gravity base, driven pile & suction pile) to ISO, DNVGL or API standards - foundation capacity and installation design.
  • Pipeline-Soil Interaction assessments to DNVGL F114.
  • Design and assessment of suction pile capacity and hammered pile capacity.
  • Utilize available software and software tools to perform analysis including but not limited to Finite Element Analysis, Spreadsheet Tools, etc.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • Minimum five to seven years' experience in subsea geotechnics.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer with PEG-NL.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good leadership abilities.
