Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on highway infrastructure, including pothole repair, guardrail maintenance, and sign installation.
  • Conduct daily circle checks and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to incidents and work with emergency response teams to ensure public safety.
  • Document incidents, time sheets, fuel records, and hours of service accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Class DZ license
  • Knowledge of OTM book 7
  • Mechanical aptitude to operate small tools and heavy equipment
  • Ability to work assigned day, night, and weekend shifts, including occasional on-call duties
Preferred Qualifications
  • Crash truck experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Applicants with a G license may be considered for a fixed-term contract, with permanent status dependent on acquiring a DZ license
