Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dining room, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
