The Manager of Risk and Compliance at Manulife Financial plays a vital role in ensuring that our organization operates within regulatory requirements and maintains a strong risk management framework. This individual will be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

About the Role:
  • Develop executive presentation materials and performance reports to support business decisions.
  • Supervise industry trends and conduct external research for strategic insights to inform project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in critical communications and support internal communication strategies to promote transparency and collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
  • University degree from a reputable university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 9 years' experience in Risk Management, Compliance, and Business Development.
  • Advanced use of project management software like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to make informed, timely decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with developing business case, project overview and dashboard, presentations (highly proficient with PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
