About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Adrian Grice. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as administer bedside care.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
