We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Off the Hook Comox. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as managing the kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and manage food costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and specialist chefs
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and service
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for banquets and special functions
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
