Job Overview

The CAA Club Group seeks an experienced Automotive Leadership and Training Manager to lead, manage, and develop the Auto Damage Appraisal Unit. This individual will be responsible for creating unit-wide training aligned with individual developmental goals, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and external legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Maintain high-quality appraisal services through adherence to service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Mitchell Estimatics to address issues and implement continuous change management.
  • Provide liaison support between PD Unit Managers and teams.
  • Conduct quality and administrative file audits, reporting concerns to upper management.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through delivery of excellent service internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, combined with relevant industry experience (automotive collision repair or mechanical repair).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Collision Estimator or Insurance Appraiser.
  • Preferred qualifications: Class A Motor Vehicle Technician or apprentice, Class B Body Repair Technician or apprentice, Certification in Motive Power Technology, Basic Estimating Course.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of vehicle damage analysis, negotiation skills, and investigative logic.
  • Progressive experience in training, mentoring, and coaching employees.
