Key Responsibilities:
- SWOT Analysis: Conduct comprehensive strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats analyses to guide strategic planning.
- Project Management: Lead organization and classification projects, adhering to established project management principles.
- Organizational Models: Develop and implement functional communities' organizational models and associated generic work descriptions.
- Structure Analysis: Analyze current and end-state structures, developing options, and recommending new organizational configurations.
- Process Optimization: Review existing work processes and organizational structures for efficiency and effectiveness, providing strategic recommendations.
- Work Description Development: Develop and update generic and specific work descriptions, delineating responsibilities within various streams of work.
- Classification Standards: Develop and implement new classification standards and occupational group structures, providing expert advice throughout.
- Policy Development: Research and develop policies, guidelines, procedures, and tools related to organizational design and classification.
Must-Haves:
- Valid Government of Canada Secret clearance.
- A university degree or college diploma.
- 10+ years in Organizational Design or related field.
- Expertise in SWOT analysis, organizational modeling, and classification standards.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certifications in Project Management (such as PMP) or related fields.
- Experience in developing and implementing performance management systems.
