Probation Rate: $20.19 per hour ($22.43 per hour after probation)

The Gateway to Your Future
As a key member of the Gateway team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our guests and employees. Your role will involve overseeing security operations throughout the casino, maintaining a visible presence on the gaming floor, and responding to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Control access to the facility and sensitive areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
  • Monitor alarm panels and respond to alerts, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
  • Investigate security incidents, writing detailed reports and maintaining a daily log.
  • Provide first aid and medical attention as required, working closely with our medical team to ensure the health and well-being of our guests and employees.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a security role, preferably in a gaming or hospitality environment.
  • Proven customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Detail-orientated and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Current first aid/CPR certification, with the ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be on call as required.
