Overhead Door Service Technician

Job Summary:

As an Overhead Door Service Technician, you will play a vital role in serving our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing loading dock and overhead door equipment. You will work closely with our team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair loading dock and overhead door equipment
  • Work with coordinators to schedule and coordinate service calls
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck with necessary parts and tools
  • Identify and report low stock levels and require re-ordering
  • Complete daily work reports and PMP checklists in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate proper safety procedures and product knowledge
  • Supervise and teach apprentices as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the overhead door and loading dock industry
  • Highly proficient with hand and power tools
  • Sound mechanical knowledge is a must
  • Sound electrical knowledge is an asset
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete daily work
  • Must keep current with required training and compliance
