About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at K Motel Steakhouse & Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Food Handling: Package take-out food, wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
