Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mahalakshmi enterprises Inc.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and managing cash.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Order merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Manage cash
- Conduct performance reviews
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Client focus and team player
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
