We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Technician to join our Talent Management team at BCI. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our learning and development programs.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate logistics for training and development activities, including scheduling, venue selection, and vendor management.
- Manage contracts and budget for Talent Management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and updates in our learning management system (LMS), ensuring seamless employee experience.
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Advisor and Manager, Talent Management, on various projects and initiatives.
- Respond to employee queries and provide guidance on training reimbursement policies, professional development plans, and general Talent Management topics.
- Support training analysis and evaluation, including survey development and administration.
- Monitor and respond to HR Training email inbox, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements and process invoices from vendors.
- Contribute to the development of the monthly learning and development newsletter, highlighting company initiatives and employee success stories.
- Represent HR on internal committees and participate in special projects as assigned by the HR team.
- Completion of a two-year diploma in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of office experience, preferably in an HR environment.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and SharePoint, with a preference for those with Workday Learning experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment with broad direction.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of the HR industry and its best practices.
BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health and dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. The annualized base salary range for this role is CAD $64,000 to $75,000, with consideration for individual skill set, experience, and internal equity.
