About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at Marshalls. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of retail professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations, including sales floor management, customer service, and inventory control.
- Lead and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
- Manage store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and merchandise costs.
- Collaborate with district managers and other store leaders to achieve business objectives and share best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, retail, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, including supervisory roles.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
