We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Director to join our team at New Minas Irving Big Stop. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Summary:

  • Evaluate daily operations and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Supervise a team of over 20 people and ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms is also an essential part of this role.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we always have the right products in stock.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work with customers to resolve any issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams that drive business results.
  • Operations Management: Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and manage cash reports and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we always have the right products in stock.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and work with customers to resolve any issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word is required.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate and First Aid Certificate are mandatory.
