About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Nursery Labourer to join our team at Fairfield Tree Nurseries Inc. As a key member of our horticultural team, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our trees and plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare the soil for planting
  • Cut and prune trees and shrubs
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage
  • Weed and maintain the health of our plants
  • Assist in the transplantation of seedlings and rooted cuttings
  • Dig up and prepare rootballs for trees and shrubs
  • Water and tend to our plants, lawns, and gardens

Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads
  • Good physical fitness and stamina
