Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Virk Enterprises Ltd. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and authorizing payments and returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise and resolve customer issues
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Work Environment: Our retail store is located in a rural area and is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will also be required to have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Flexibility, organized, and a team player
Language: English
Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Travel Expenses: Travel expenses not paid by employer
Public Transportation: Public transportation is not available
