Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Marriott International. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect crime, and to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Respond to accidents, injuries, and other emergencies, and provide first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents, and complete incident reports as required.
  • Defuse guest and employee disturbances, and call for outside assistance if necessary.
  • Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary and daily activity report.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Security and Loss Prevention reports and documents, and release information only to authorized individuals.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support security and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Conduct interviews with relevant parties to gather information and support security and loss prevention initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
