Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Uniqlo Canada. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will be responsible for implementing and executing all Loss Prevention initiatives and policies within your assigned location.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Store Management and the Area Loss Prevention Manager to protect company assets and ensure customer and employee safety.
  2. Train store personnel on Loss Prevention policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  3. Detect and safely apprehend shoplifters, recover merchandise, and investigate internal theft and policy violation incidents.
  4. Implement loss reduction initiatives with store teams and Loss Prevention senior management.
  5. Utilize Loss Prevention technology equipment, including CCTV, Access Control, EAS, and exception-based reporting systems.
  6. Provide training to store team members on RFID Inventory systems.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5+ years of related experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi-unit capacity.
  2. Full understanding of Canadian federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations regarding apprehensions, safety, and Loss Prevention.
  3. Proven ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals.
  4. Experience with Loss Prevention technology and methods, including CCTV, covert surveillance, EAS, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems.
  5. Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory accuracy principles, including RFID technology.
  6. Knowledge and familiarity with using MS Office and G-Suite.
  7. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  8. Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  9. Group Insurance (Health & Dental).
  10. Competitive compensation range of $22 - $25 per hour commensurate with experience.
