Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Stock Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at 21 Century. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels, negotiating prices and credit terms with suppliers, overseeing the distribution of merchandise, and reviewing requirements to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.

About This Role

You will be working closely with other departments to ensure that our stock levels are always optimal, which means being proactive and anticipatory in identifying trends and making informed decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory movements to inform purchasing decisions;
  • Negotiate price discounts and credit terms with suppliers to optimize costs;
  • Oversee the receipt and storage of merchandise at our facility to ensure timely delivery to customers;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective solutions;
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize stock levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and stock management;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze sales data and identify trends;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player who can contribute to collaborative efforts.
