We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at China Garden Restaurant LTD.

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Helper will assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and stored properly. The successful candidate will also assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, wash dishes by hand, and sanitize utensils and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including heating and finishing simple food items.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Will train.
Working Conditions:

The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Kitchen Helper will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
