Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our MRI department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Assist radiologists during procedures and provide technical support as needed
  • Input patient data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Provide training and guidance to student technologists and staff trainees
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Two years of recent experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
