Financial Operations Associate

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Associate to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a key member of our Finance Division, you will play a critical role in supporting our project management activities and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management Support: Assist the members of the Finance Division in defining their needs, follow up on implementation plans, and coordinate testing on IT projects.
- Financial Systems Support: Provide support to Finance users on Oracle Financials, Business Objects, and Head-Office reporting, including coordination with the IT department for improvements and assistance in developing, updating, and amending automated reports.
- Application Development: Build finance applications under the direction of the Head of Projects & Administration using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python.
- Application Testing and Documentation: Perform application testing and write documentation on financial applications supported or developed.
- Data Management: Update the data referential in Oracle Financial.
- Education: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent in MIS or Data Analytics.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in supporting similar teams in their day-to-day activities, using Business Objects and Oracle Financials products.
- Skills: Fluent in French and English, 2 years of VBA and Python, 1 year of SQL, programming skills, knowledge of BusinessObjects and Oracle Financials applications support, Agile methodology, MS Office application development working knowledge, particularly Excel and MS Access, Python, experience with Leasequery or similar software, previous banking experience, and/or in a finance department, experience using BusinessObjects (or similar) as a tool to extract data.
