Accounting Coordinator Role at Triovest

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team at Triovest, a leading Canadian commercial real estate company. As a key member of our Property Accounting group, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing bank reconciliations, and supporting the team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process property-related invoices and ensure timely approvals.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with external vendors and internal departments to minimize late fees.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with sales tax filing and provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of accounts payable experience.
  • Proficient in both English and French, with the ability to read French invoices.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
