Skilled Tradesperson for Residential Construction

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at InvestorCentric Inc. as a carpenter.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
This is a temporary work term opportunity that requires relocation to various locations across Canada. As a carpenter with our company, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints and determining work requirements, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, schedule and coordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of employment or equivalent experience;
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate;
- Excellent oral communication skills;
- Excellent written communication skills;
- Judgement;
- Reliability;
- Team player;
- Punctuality;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Willingness to travel regularly and relocate for this position.
