About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Queensborough. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Engagement and Activities: Plan and lead activities that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and imagination, including storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture as needed.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems, establishing strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain relevant certifications, such as Early Childhood Education (ECE) and First Aid.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
