About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Queensborough. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Assist in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, including preparing snacks and arranging rooms for meals and rest periods.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a child care setting.
  • Certifications: Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliability, team player, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
