Job Title: Community Service Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Service Worker to join our team at Terrace and District Community Services Society. As a Community Service Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress.
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to address their goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and support to clients on life skills, such as budgeting, time management, and goal setting.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and community agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
