Airport Restaurant Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Airport Restaurant Operations Director to join our team at SSP Deutschland GmbH. This is a key leadership role that requires the ability to manage front of house and kitchen activities, drive management teams, focus on food quality, and control costs.

About the Role:
  • Lead Front of House and Kitchen Activities: Manage, supervise, and evaluate team member performance to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals, and provide feedback and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Drive Management Team/Direct Reports: Drive the implementation of new product introductions and promotional programs, and provide training accordingly.
  • Focus on Food Quality: Ensure food quality and standards are maintained, and adhere to company, restaurant partner, and food safety specifications.
  • Financial Controls: Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • People Development: Facilitate and develop action plans arising out of the Company's succession planning process, and promote a culture of growth and development.
  • Systems and Processes: Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Culinary, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field.
  • Experience: Full Service with bar restaurant General Management experience required; Quick Service Restaurant management highly desired.
  • Management Experience: 10+ years of increasing responsibility in a full-service with bar restaurant environment with direct P&L responsibility.
  • Multi-Unit Management Experience: 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience with General Manager direct reports or franchise management experience required.
  • Financial Skills: Aptitude to monitor and control labor costs, and optimize profitability.
  • Technical Training: Culinary background is desirable, and utmost importance on food safety.
Benefits:
