As a Retirement Consultant at Financière Sun Life, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance and support to clients in their retirement planning journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively call existing Group Retirement Savings plan members to discuss retirement income options and provide personalized recommendations.
- Offer investment guidance to clients, taking into account their financial needs, including savings and retirement income.
- Partner with clients to ensure they are 'retirement ready' through the use of planning tools.
- Stay up-to-date with product changes, new products, and industry trends to provide the best possible service to clients.
- Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives.
- Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (1a).
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial planner designation (IQPF).
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to probe by asking questions to understand client needs.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience selling wealth products over the phone is an asset.
- Completion of a college or university degree is an asset.
