Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at VOIX CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.

Job Summary:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and projects
  • Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training, and ensure that all workers are properly equipped and supervised
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all necessary resources are available
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is safe and secure
  • Recommend personnel actions, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and projects

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in noisy environments
