Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Casting Machine Operator to join our team at Simalex Manufacturing Company. As a key member of our metal products manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and adjusting processing machinery to produce high-quality aluminum castings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and prepare processing machinery for production runs, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
  • Metal Handling and Sorting: Sort and handle metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials with precision and care.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Tool Operation: Use hand tools, such as deburrers, to grind or chip excess metal from metal products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a metal products manufacturing environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, team player, flexibility, dependability, and reliability.
