Job Summary

As a Technician I - Security with Paladin Technologies, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. You will work closely with experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience with low voltage access control systems, CCTV setups, and prewiring projects.

Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems
  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components
  • Assist in system design and layout
  • Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, CCTV, and prewiring is desirable but not required
