About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Murphco Inc. in a permanent position, offering 32 to 44 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budgetary data to optimize restaurant profitability and maintain financial stability.
  • Evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to foster growth and development.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities effectively.
  • Set staff work schedules, balancing workload with individual needs and preferences.
  • Supervise staff, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Train staff on new procedures and best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing outstanding contributions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing competitive prices and high-quality products.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting the restaurant's brand and services.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and effectively in a dynamic environment.
