Personal Support Worker

Mazaferro is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal care and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Confidential security clearance
  • Basic security clearance
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a variety of settings, including the client's home, and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
