Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at R.N.G. Transport Inc.

Job Summary

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize work to accomplish objectives
  • Oversee operational logistics, including transportation route and crew scheduling
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, establish work schedules and procedures, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including electronic schedulers and dispatch management software
