Regional Brand Activator

About the Role:
Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Brand Activator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing the sale of supplier brands to the trade and consumer through effective regional execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key players in the trade, including partners, sommeliers, managers, and bartenders.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies to achieve branding objectives.
- Audit, classify, and prioritize key accounts to develop and lead direct relationships with key on-premise players.
- Implement and execute on-trade activities and sales against the brand plan, including OP partnerships.
- Lead events and experiences with final clients, focusing on education and training.
- Support and organize events and above-the-line activities.
- Develop and deliver training programs for partners and key players in the on-trade, as well as support internal sales teams for high-value trainings.
- Drive brand success through training, education, and experiences for Territory Managers, Sales Managers, and Key Account Managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality, or supplier community.
- Valid province driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance.
- Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits, including regions, varietals, product/food pairing techniques, basic production, and service.
- Ability to adapt and assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types.
- Strong negotiation skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to create and sell innovative ideas.
- Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive individual who requires minimal supervision.
