Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Stanford Seniors Village. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with feeding and hydration
  • Provide mobility support, including transferring and positioning residents
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the care team
  • Respond to call signals and provide emotional support to residents
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
