Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometry Graduate Recruitment and Development Manager to lead our recruitment activity for Optometry Students. The ideal candidate will have a background in optometry, effective communication skills, and the ability to persuade and engage with a highly educated student base.
Key Responsibilities- Operational delivery: Attend optometry school events, connect with students, and collaborate on ways to keep them engaged.
- Relationship Management: Work proactively with partners to ensure a positive and effective working relationship, support summer placements, and coordinate externship rotations.
- Capability development: Keep pipelines of students, externs, and summer placements organized, and input into social media with knowledge of platform-specific techniques.
- Essential Skills: Experience practicing as an optometrist, experience in fostering connections and building relationships with students and optometrists, and experience in the development and delivery of key resourcing plans.
- Desirable Skills: Direct headhunting experience, track record in deploying a range of attraction approaches to meet business demands.
