Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Seta Transport Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for planning and organizing the operational logistics of our organization, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation logistics
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience

Work Environment:

The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
