NOSM University invites applications from qualified individuals for the role of Pediatrics Curriculum Development Expertise. This position involves providing leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of high-quality pediatric curriculum content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chairs of Clinical Medicine and Therapeutics I and II and the Introduction to Clinical Medicine, the Phase 3 Co-Directors, the Phase 2 Director, the Pediatrics Section Chair, and the Pediatrics Clerkship Leads.
  • Develop leveled educational activities/sessions to help deliver the Pediatrics curriculum.
  • Review and update the Pediatrics clerkship exam question database for ongoing quality improvement.
  • Participate in reviewing and updating the Phase 3 Pediatrics clerkship academic session objectives annually.
  • Consult with the CMT Chair and CMT I committee members on Phase 2 Pediatrics curriculum as required.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Medicine degree.
  • Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the province of Ontario.
  • Must have (or be eligible for) a faculty appointment with NOSM U.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing in Northern Ontario.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally, written and comprehension).
