About the Role
Lafarge Construction is seeking a skilled Paver Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a Paver Operator, you will be responsible for operating a paver to lay asphalt on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a paver to lay asphalt on construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance on the paver, including washing and cleaning
- Monitor and ensure quality of asphalt
- Assist with a variety of job operations within a paving team
- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating a screed
- Knowledge of City of Edmonton Specifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read survey markings
